Alvi’s Drift is a 7000 tonne winery in the Breede River Valley, owned by the Van Der Merwe family, Bertie Van Der Merwe along with his 2 sons, Johan, a lawyer, and Alvi, a medical doctor. Alvi’s Drift is the name of the drift near the farm, built by Alvi's grandfather in 1928, which crosses the Breede river. Attractions

Cilmor Winery was established in 1997 by the Cilmor Trust, which was formed in 1996 after Cecil Morgen passed away. He had a great passion for cultivating vineyards and acquired a number of farms in the Scherpenheuwel region.
